The idea of RIDER Residential was formed after visiting family in a neighboring country club community, stumbled upon their community’s newsletter, and considered all the residents who could use a home watch service for their primary and secondary homes in the area. Today, Shana enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and family snow skiing at Mammoth Mountain and water skiing throughout Southern California.

Owner and CEO of RIDER Residential, Shana Rider, was born in California and raised in the beach cities of Los Angeles County. Her passion for helping others and working with numbers led her to an early career in sales. Shana moved to the Coachella Valley in 2007 where she first began her home watch business – RIDER Residential. Shana received Graduate Distinction at the California State University, San Bernardino, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Career and Technical Studies.

Niki and Zack Von Berg have been servicing the Mammoth Lakes, CA area since 2020. Daughter and son-in-law of Shana Rider, they have one son, two fur cats, two fur dogs, and a dozen chickens. In their free time, they enjoy snow skiing, water skiing, attending live concerts, and making new memories with their family.
